OperationMOVE – tougher than the rest

I was a day late in getting my move groove back on, but I did it.

I did a 5 kilometre walk today with Gravel, and I have to say I feel awesome for it.

So weird, again feeling all the sensations through my body like the very first time I ever ran. The ouchy of my inner thighs, upper arms… all the bits that wobble – go figure. The rest kicked in as I was eating dinner. Feet, hands, arms… and face – Feet, hands and arms, normal ouchies… but face?! What the f… is up with that?!

I second guessed myself for all of a minute. Asking the question “Is it really worth this?”

The answer is… Damn straight!

My brain is tougher than the rest of me. If I can get my brain to stay focused, I can deal with the rest. I don’t expect to be back where I was straight away. It’s going to take a lot of work to get back there – remembering to take my anti-inflammatory meds every day is a starting point in itself!

But I’m up for it.

Damn straight I’m up for it.
